Vans was founded in 1966, and originally names the Van Doren Rubber Company. What was sold in a small retail store in Southern California, would quickly grow nationwide and become the most popular skateboarding shoe on the market. Today, Vans makes products for all action sports including surfing, bmx, wakeboarding, and motocross.
