Globe International was established in 1994 by the Australian Hill Brothers, and was 10 years in the making. At the time, the Hill brothers were former professional skateboarders who were unsatisfied with the current product made by other shoe companies. Globe Footwear began importing products from the United States, and distributing them from their Australian headquarters, Hardcore Distribution. In addition to their premium line of skateboarding fashion and footwear, Globe Shoes also carry a line of snowboarding and surfing gear, and both have a full team of professional riders. Globe also offers a line of skateboarding hard goods such as longboards and cruisers.
