On the day that your order ships, you will receive an email that will indicate which carrier your order has shipped with as well as the tracking information. If an item on your order is not available for immediate shipment from the manufacturer, then Skate America will automatically special order it and it will be noted on the invoice with the other products that you receive right away. In the event of a backorder, Skate America will contact you via email and provide you with a full updated view of your remaining items on order and expected ship dates. At all times, you will be offered the option of selecting a different product that is available to ship immediately. If you wish to cancel your backordered item(s) and receive a credit refund, it is your responsibility to contact customer service via “Contact Us” prior to shipment. Otherwise, your special ordered item(s) will remain on order and automatically ship to you as soon as they are available. You will receive a weekly email with your order status up through full delivery.

Back Orders:
Due to the high volume and fast changing products, skateboard manufacturers will sometimes be delayed with their production. If the Manufacturer has the product available, Skate America will ship your ordered products immediately. The applicable shipping is charged as the products ship with your order.

If an item you ordered is not available from the Manufacturer, Skate America will special order it automatically and it will be noted on your invoice. Your ordered item(s) will immediately ship to you when they become available. Special ordered items usually take 7-10 days on average. If a product will take longer than that, or is no longer available, our customer service will contact you right away. If your backordered product is no longer available from the manufacturer, the total will be available for you to use as a credit towards another available product. Our customer service will inform you of this, should it occur.

If you wish to cancel your backordered item(s) and receive a credit refund, it is your responsibility to contact customer service on the Contact Us page on the Skate America web site. Your special ordered item will automatically ship to you unless you speak to a customer service person to cancel it.


Payment:
Payment is charged in full at the time the original order ships. The applicable shipping is charged as the products ship with your first order and a 3.99 special shipping and handling fee is charged on Domestic backorders, and a 6.99 special shipping and handling fee is charged on International backorders. If any of your products are not immediately available from the manufacturer, a special order will be placed, thereby guaranteeing you the price of that item and first right to receive upon availability.

Skate America’s interest is in making sure that you are happy with your purchases and our service. The following are the guidelines for returns and exchanges:

1. 60 days from delivery date.
2. Items must be unused, in salable condition and in their original packaging. Clothing must be unwashed and videos unopened.
3. All refunds and exchanges for non-defective items exclude shipping and handling charges. For warranty returns, please include a receipt for your return shipping cost. Refunded shipping amounts will be issued for the cost of regular ground shipping.
4. Skate America cannot accept returns for swimwear or undergarments. All sales are final.
5. All non-defective returned eyewear are subject to a manufacturer 15% restocking fee.
6. A $5.00 restock fee will be charged for all returned Decks with Grip Tape installed. A $10.00 restock fee will be charged for all returned Build-a-Complete skateboards.
