The first annual FMX RIOT (Rush International Off-Road Terrain)natural-terrain championships held in November between Ocotillo Wells and the Glamis Dunes of Southern California. The contest featured no ramps and no judges! After each day, the riders graded each other and cast their votes. The concept: Take eight riders and a camera out to the edge of civilization and let them go wild! The invitees included Mike Metzger, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg, Tyler King, and Germany's Busty Wolter.
