In 1969, Quiksilver was founded by Alan Green and John Law in Torquay, Victoria, Australia. From what was produced out of a local surf shop, is now arguably one of the world's largest manufacturers of surfwear and other boardsport-related equipment. Quilsilver supports some of the best athletes in all boardsports.
