Volcom was founded by long-time friends Tucker Hall and Richard Woolcott, upon a traditional snowboarding trip to Tahoe, California in 1991. The company was created to provide quality apparel for the three sports they both loved, snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing. Today, the company is sold worldwide, and sponsors well-known events and riders around the world.
